James, who leads the GCRE Atlanta office, is a 27-year real estate professional who was previously with Jones Lang Lasalle, Grubb & Ellis, Johnson Controls (JCI) Global Workplace Solutions, and Sheraton Hotels. James has provided strategic planning, master planning, complex transaction negotiations and transactional services for clients such as Coca Cola, Coca Cola Enterprises, EDS, EY, GM, Wachovia, Wells Fargo, Mead Westvaco, Aon, MasterCard, Starwood Capital, Sun Microsystems, Willis, Mellon, Arthritis Foundation and Equifax. Additionally, James has sold land and buildings (office, retail, and industrial) on behalf of companies, developers, and banks.

James worked as a Global Solutions Development Director at JCI Global Workplace Solutions where he was responsible for the design of global and regional corporate real estate outsourcing solutions for companies such as Motorola, Barclays, HP, SunTrust Banks, HSBC with annual expenditures of $50M-$500M. He earned his Bachelor of Science I Electrical Engineering, from Texas A&M University.
